Do you want to learn how technology can enrich the life of your loved one?

Join us for a presentation on how Assistive Technology (AT) can increase independence and enhance quality of life for people with disabilities. You will be introduced to the services available through Massachusetts’ AT programs and how families, caregivers, and service providers can access these resources. Attendees will also learn about current AT and hear how these devices have improved the lives of so many who didn’t even know these devices existed.

Additionally, the speaker will address how this technology can potentially be funded as you explore what is most appropriate for your loved one. Whether you are just beginning to explore AT or looking for new options, this session will give you practical resources to support individuals’ everyday needs and long-term goals.

Jeff Boucher has spent over 15 years in disability services, from the Perkins School for the Blind to private schools focused on students with autism. For the past five years, he has been the assistive technology coordinator at Northeast Arc, establishing an AT lending library and expanding AT programs. When he’s not thinking about technology, you can find Jeff playing board games with his wife, daughter, and two cats.
